We are a dedicated SCUBA Dive operation and have been Port Denarau's premier dive operator putting smiles on divers' faces for eleven+ years.
We love what we do, and we even pretend it's work!
Please Note - Safe diving is weather dependent and sometimes dive sites just do have to change to suit the conditions of the day.
Our Certified Diver Adventure Plan For You
You're on holiday so let's get a Fiji Scuba Dive Adventure happening!
Two tank dive trips depart Port Denarau Marina by 9:00am each day and return by 2:00pm.
We provide complimentary transfers from resorts and hotels in the Denarau/Nadi/Wailoaloa Beach areas. Pick up times will vary depending upon which location you are staying, however those details will be conveyed at time of enquiry/booking.
After we all meet and get the necessary paper work completed at the Marina Booth, it's down to the dive boat to get your gear fitted and get to know each other ready for your Adventure. Take a coffee with you if you wish, as there's no espresso machine on board 'Getaway', unfortunately.
The average time to get to the morning dive sites is 35-40 minutes, but they are worth the trip. You should be back at the marina 1:00pm to 1:30pm - sea conditions determining arrival time. Complete log books and a chat, then back to your resort for the remainder of your afternoon.
OK, what's best for you?
- The two tank morning dive trips are suited to divers of all levels - Two dives each trip, with site location dependent upon water conditions and weather forecast. The sites will vary from outer reef walls, to wreck dives, to drift dives and coral reef . What to expect - some current, pelagic marine life, larger reef life, greater visibility, great hard corals, swim throughs - Adventure.
- We have dive sites for the more experienced divers, and others that definitely are more suited to our newer diver friends. But please also note - there are a number of dive sites we utilise that have one section perfect for experienced divers, and another section perfect for an Introductory diver to get under the water for the first time. If the trip is shared between certified and Introductory divers then there will be a dive guide and an instructor on board to cater for everyone's Adventures.
- Wreck dive trips - The first dive is to the MV Salamander which is a purpose sunk wreck lying at 26m on the bottom. If you've never dived to a wreck before then this is a great dive for you, good for look alike photos of yourself as Jacques Cousteau's cousin. For those divers wishing to penetrate the wreck's cabins and wheelhouse (it is clean inside and ample safe egress routes) it is recommended to have Wreck Diver specialty certification.
- The second dive will be at a cool coral bommie site covered in fish and make this second dive a chance to pretend you're inside an aquarium.
- PLEASE NOTE - There is a second wreck in the area listed in various dive brochures and media - it's the B-26 Bomber which lies at 22m. We don't tend to visit this wreck very often, and we like you to be aware this wreck is not an intact aircraft and illustrates the severity of impact upon this unfortunate aircraft and crew which apparently ran out of fuel before reaching Nadi Airport. The wreck is not so spectacular these days as the wreckage has been consumed by the sea and the only large section remaining is the starboard wing. It's not the awesome wreck dive you may be imagining, and we don't utilise it as an active dive site anymore.
